More cycle lanes in the city: "New features include the introduction of a cycle lane in Carrer Urgell and two-way traffic on the Carrer Provenca cycle lane
The work to expand the city’s cycle lane network will begin over the next two weeks. The plan for 2008 consists of adding 28 kilometres of cycle lanes to the 128 currently existing.
This expansion is due to the increased use of bicycles in the city over the last year, which has risen 81%, as the Councillor for Mobility, Francesc Narvaez, explained."
